Environmental Studies Textbooks

I'm currently taking two environmental studies courses: an environmental philosophy course and an environmental policy course. I was very excited to find out that 5 out of my 6 textbooks were available on kindle. Some of the books are much cheaper than the paperback versions, even used copies off Amazon. I will be saving lots of money, and I don't have to lug around 6 big books.

The Honest Broker: Making Sense of Science in Policy and Politics

Democracy and Expertise: Reorienting Policy Inquiry

Sand County Almanac (Outdoor Essays & Reflections)

Price, Principle, and the Environment

In Nature's Interests?: Interests, Animal Rights, and Environmental Ethics (Environmental Ethics and Science Policy Series)

  1. How do images/figures compare on kindle text books to actual text books? It seems to me they would be worse on the kindle, especially if they were not re-designed specifically for the kindle. Do you find this to be true?
